2004 Willis 1440 Metal Lathe for sale. This is a variable speed lathe with spindle speeds from 35-2500rpm. Speed is controlled by a variable frequency drive and 2 gear ranges. Has Bison 3 jaw chuck, Aloris CXA Wedge type toolpost, brand new heavy roller type steady rest, coolant pump, foot brake, gap bed and inch metric gearbox.

Gearboxes have all been flushed and refilled with oil. Power feeds and threading are all working great. Machine runs like new. Ways have nearly zero wear. Was purchased new by a technical college and did not see much use.

Powered by a 4hp 3 phase motor wired at 230v. Footprint is 80”x36” and weight is about 2000 lbs.

Can be inspected under power and we can load it. No charge for loading. We can set up freight if needed. Thanks!
